For both the piano and guitar I focus my tuition on actually playing music! Sounds

like common sense, but how many people do you know that took music

lessons for six months at then end of it all the could show you was scale after

scale, arpeggios, and a dozen chords...where's the music? My approach is based

on learning all your scales, arpeggios, and chords by actually playing songs...the

one's YOU want to play...I will offer guidance to other pieces you may not

be familiar with, in order to expand your musical horizons..

My approach works with any style of music: folk, blues, punk, metal, classical, pop,

classic rock, bluegrass, jazz...you name a style, chances are one of my students is

playing it! I teach on either the steel string acoustic, nylon/classical guitar or electric guitar..

for the adults that may want to take their lessons after work, you can always avail yourself to

one of the guitars from my collection for your lesson...so you don't have to drag

your guitar around with you all day!
